Our attorneys have extensive experience in the areas of bankruptcy, financial reorganization, commercial litigation, probate, and real estate matters. We have successfully represented consumers in class action litigation for violations of the West Virginia Consumer Credit and Protection Act.

Joe M. Supple

Joe is a founding member of Supple Law Office and is well known for his expertise in business workouts, bankruptcy reorganization, and consumer protection. Joe is a Subchapter V Chapter 11 Trustee appointed by the U.S. Department of Justice and has represented hundreds of businesses and individuals in bankruptcy proceedings. Joe earned a degree in accounting from Marshall University in 1995 and is a Certified Public Accountant. Joe received his law degree from West Virginia University in 1999. After law school, Joe was employed by Ohio Valley Bank as in-house counsel, and from April 2000 to October 2002, served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Ronald G. Pearson, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.


Joe is Counsel for the City of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Main Street Point Pleasant, the Mason County Community Foundation and Point Pleasant River Museum. During his free time, Joe enjoys farming, hunting, fly-fishing, and spending time with his family.

Cary Shinn Supple

Cary Shinn Supple is a founding member of Supple Law Office. Before obtaining her law degree, Cary attended both West Virginia University and Marshall University where she was graduated with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Mathematics and Elementary Education respectively. After teaching public scho ol for a few years, Cary decided to go on to law school at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Cary's private practice predominantly involves representing debtors through credit workouts, financial reorganization (business and personal), and bankruptcy relief via chapters 7, 11, 12 & 13. Cary is also the appointed Fiduciary Commissioner for Mason County, West Virginia presiding over probate issues since January 2014. The remainder of her practice reaches estate planning, estate administration, and general civil litigation. Cary is licensed to practice law in Ohio, West Virginia, and in the United States Federal Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, as well as, the Southern District of Ohio.


In her free time, Cary enjoys volunteering for the local community in numerous capacities. She is a past President of the Mason County Area Chamber of Commerce, Mason County Bar Association, and Point Pleasant in Bloom. Cary has also held offices in the Mason County Republican Club and Point Pleasant Lions Club. She established and facilitates the Point Pleasant City-Wide Yard Sale, Mason County School of Music, and is a Mason County 4H Cloverbud leader. Cary also attends the First Church of God with her husband and four children.

Erica Martin

Erica is a paralegal at Supple Law Office specializing in bankruptcy, estate planning and probate issues. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Rio Grande. At the University of Rio Grande, she was a member of Phi Alpha Theta a history honor society. Prior to Supple Law Office, Erica was employed as a legal assistant in Huntington, West Virginia.


Erica attends Liberty Chapel Church and in her free time enjoys traveling, participating in 5K's, reading and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Andrea Gannaway 

Andrea is a legal assistant at Supple Law Office. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in history education and Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Rio Grande. Before working at Supple Law Office, Andrea spent over 15 years in education. 


Andrea paints ceramics, makes floral arrangements, and enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dogs in her free time.
